Celebrity sightings!

So, we went to the Sundance film festival in Park City yesterday and it was so much fun! We were nervous about how it would go because we had never been before and the cold and Hallee and all that, but it really turned out really well.

When we first walked onto Main street we saw either Stephen or Alec Baldwin. He was across the street and we couldn't decide, but he was definitely a Baldwin...not that exciting I know. Then we walked around and looked at a bunch of different Sundance things and shops and got caramel apples and things like that. We were planning on going to the wait-list line for a movie that Jimmy Fallon was in at 4, so we were just killing time before that. So, we go to this pizza place, and before you get to the restaurant there were some benches inside with a heater above them, so we went and sat there to warm up a little bit and rest a minute. As we were sitting there I could see flashing from cameras inside the pizza place, and these people walked out and were like "oh that was so cool." So, I said, who was it? They said, Jimmy Fallon! So, we took our time feeding hallee and changed her diaper and eating our caramel apple, so when Jimmy walked out we could take a pic with him!

He was so cool! When he first walked out he saw hallee immediately so he started talking to her and making her smile a ton, and he even got her to laugh, so then we asked for the pic. He told us she was so cute and congratulations. It was pretty cool. By the way, Hallee was the only baby in all of Park city so everyone recognized us and smiled at hallee and that was pretty funny. And she of course smiled back at every person she could make eye contact with.

THEN...we got in to see the movie with Jimmy in it, called The Year of Getting to Know Us and found out that Tom Arnold and Sharon Stone were in the film and were there as well. Lucy Liu was in it too, but she wasn't there. The movie was interesting...not funny as we expected, but very serious. And, you don't know the ratings of any of the films and this one must be "R" because they said the F word 5 or 6 times, but that was the only bad part. Then they did a Q&A at the end and we got to see Tom Arnold make a fool of himself because he was drunk.

Anyway, I think this is my longest post ever! But, we really had a lot of fun and Hallee was amazing! She slept the whole time during the movie! What a blessing. She really made the trip fun because we didn't have to worry about a screaming baby at all. Yay for celebrities!

That is so awesome guys! I never saw anyone sweet at Sundance. We did go to a weird movie though. Not really that great. They always show really 'artistic' movies there. Whatever...if by 'artistic' they mean 'stupid', then they got it right.
